Spirits Specialist – Wallonia

Are you a motivated individual with an affinity for spirits? Do you like the hospitality sector and enjoy customer contact? Then read on! For our Va.S.CO SA entity, which specializes in quality products such as wines, spirits, premium coffee, etc., we are looking for a Spirit Specialist, who will be responsible for developing our product range and growing our customer portfolio in Wallonia.

About the Haelterman Group The Haelterman Group, based in Ternat, employs around 350 people and comprises several well-known beverage distribution companies. These include HLS, Belgium’s largest independent drinks distributor, VA.S.Co, specialist in wines and spirits and distributor of Másalto coffee, and Carlsberg Importers SA. The group also markets its own brands, such as TAO and Bionina.

Vos responsabilités

  • As a Spirit Specialist, you will be responsible for selling our wide range of premium spirits brands;
  • You maintain regular contact with existing customers and are attentive to their needs and satisfaction;
  • You will explore the market, making new contacts as an Ambassador to promote our product ranges;
  • You are responsible for cross-selling with the whole sales team, to optimize product ranges (wine, coffee, beer, etc.);
  • You will work closely with the marketing department to develop customer promotions and participation in trade fairs;
  • As a Sales Developer, you are also responsible for the administrative management of your customer portfolio: you ensure the correct processing of visit reports and sales conditions in the CRM (Salesforce);
  • You prepare your weekly reports with the Regional Sales Manager;
  • You take part in trade fairs in the region;
  • You keep abreast of new trends and developments in the market and the sector.

Votre profil

  • You have a strong affinity with the on-trade and with spirits;
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience;
  • Preferably, you have a professional network in the catering industry in the region;
  • You are commercially minded and have excellent communication skills;
  • You are proactive and can easily grasp a customer’s needs;
  • You enjoy working in a results-oriented sales environment;
  • You are dynamic and flexible, you can work independently;
  • You have a sense of responsibility and initiative;
  • You are familiar with the Office Suite, and knowledge of a CRM (SalesForce) is a plus;
  • You have a perfect command of spoken and written French, and a basic knowledge of Dutch;
  • You have a good geographical knowledge of Wallonia.
